Development and the effect of a school-based post intervention program for bullying

Abstract
The purpose of the study was to develop a school-based post intervention program for bullying and evaluate the effect of the program. To develop the program, previous studies were reviewed and consultations from multidisciplinary experts were considered. The program was developed as an indicated level prevention strategies and was delivered by a group of therapists including play therapists, an art therapist and a psychodrama therapist. The subject of the study were four elementary school classes where school bullying had happened. For data analysis, pre and post test of school bullying behaviors, bystander behaviors and sense of school belonging were done and Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test was carried out. For results, there were decreases of bullying and bystanding behaviors and the senses of school belonging were increased in the participant classes.
